How the drills work

The daily set plays a narrated match while you fill both sheets, then marks every box against the rule behind it, and practice by skill isolates one thing at a time. The 45 scenarios use numbers instead of names, every match is invented, and your answers stay in your browser.

The rulebooks in the 2 profiles

One profile follows the 2026-27 NFHS Volleyball Rules Book and the 2026-27 NFHS volleyball rules interpretations; the other follows the 2025-2027 USA Volleyball Indoor Rules. They are kept apart because the two codes differ on things a scorer must get right, and each number in them sits beside its rule number and a paraphrase. No rulebook text is copied or shipped, and where a paraphrase differs, the published rule applies.

Credit on the guides

Guides carry the Scorerdesk name and nobody else's: there is no individual byline, and no certified scorer or official is named. The author in each guide's structured data is the Scorerdesk organization. Look at a guide's date to see when its text was last edited.

The developer's other sites

Rinkclock (hockey timekeeping), Cheersheet (eight-count sheets for cheer routines), Showorder (recital running orders) and Endbook (archery club records) have the same maker. None of them has any bearing on volleyball rules.

What this site cannot do

No certification comes from here. Your region's or state's scorer training is still required, and nothing here counts toward it. A certificate of practice covers every session stored in this browser, including any you imported; it is not a qualification.

It drills one code at a time, may trail the current books by a season, and knows nothing of the local variations a league or tournament applies, so the sheet at a real match may differ. For the reasoning, read how the libero tracking sheet works and how substitutions are counted, or see the guide hub.
