# Scorerdesk > Practise the volleyball scorer's table: a narrated match plays, you fill in the scoresheet and the libero tracking sheet, and every mistake is marked with the rule it broke. Scorerdesk is a practice tool. Your region's or state's scorer training and certification course is still required, and every match here is invented. Scorerdesk is not affiliated with USA Volleyball, the NFHS, any region, state association, league or club. ## How it works A seeded match generator produces a narrated event stream ("Serve, home, number 9." "Point away." "Sub request home: 12 in for 5." "Libero replacement away: 7 out, 1 in."), spoken by the browser's speech engine and shown as captions. The user fills in an original scoresheet (running score, service boxes by serving order, substitutions with the score, substitution count, time-outs, sanctions, final result) and an original libero tracking sheet. A rule engine with two data profiles (NFHS 2026-27 and USA Volleyball 2025-2027 indoor) computes the correct sheet after every event, and the grader marks every error with the rule it broke. Illegal requests must be flagged, not recorded. ## Rules it follows - NFHS 2026-27 (2026-27 NFHS Volleyball Rules Book and the 2026-27 NFHS volleyball rules interpretations): 18 substitutions per set, 2 time-outs of up to 60 seconds, zero, one or two liberos per set with one shared libero serving position, lineup in serving order, unnecessary delay counted per set. Reviewed 2026-09-27. - USA Volleyball 2025-27 (2025-2027 USA Volleyball Indoor Rules): 15 substitutions per set, 2 time-outs of 30 seconds, zero, one or two liberos, receiving team's first server in position II, delays counted per match, improper requests.
